The Brandeis building has a little bit of a hard water problem. We had a shower head with a filter in the main bathroom, and a three way shower head in the master bathroom. The master bathroom barely had enough pressure to make this head work and got clogged pretty quickly from the hard water. The main shower had more pressure but the hard water wasn’t great on your hair, so before we could install these in the new place, they went for a bath of their own in CLR to clean the debris out of them.
Once cleaned, it was time to install our upgraded shower heads. The main bathroom already had a decent “rain” type head on it, but we opted to swap it out anyway. Off it went and the “Curve” by Oxygenics went on in it’s place still giving us a rain type option, as well as the waterfall and an oxygenated option. The 90° elbow previously installed does put this head a bit lower than I would like, but not enough to be a deal breaker, and it’s easy enough to swap this out at a later time.
